Recently, the Brazilian Institute for the Environment and Renewable Natural Resources (Ibama) revealed that four new selection processes were opened. Until this Saturday, (30/04), it is expected that they will generate a total of 1143 jobs for the positions of Brigade Officer, Squadron Chief, Brigade Chief, Brigade Supervisor and Federal Brigade Supervisor in several locations in Brazil.
The four selection processes that were opened by IBAMA for the fill of the 1143 job vacancies are destined for the states of Acre, Amazonas, Bahia, Goiás, Maranhão, Mato Grosso do Sul, Piauí, Pará, Rondônia, Tocantins, Ceará, Pernambuco, Rio de Janeiro and in the Federal District, for professionals with literate levels , medium and higher.

For the position of Brigadier for the Prevention and Combat of Forest Fires, IBAMA has 898 job openings available, with a salary of R$ 1,212.00 and the requirements include: being literate, between 18 and 59 years of age and Training Course for Forest Fire Prevention and Fighting Brigades given by IBAMA or ICMBio.
As for the Squadron Chief Brigadier, there are 152 job openings available, with a salary of R$ 1,818.00 and, for enrollment in the selective processes, the requirements are: be literate, be between 18 and 59 years old and have a Training Course Certificate of Prevention Brigades Fighting Forest Fires given by IBAMA or ICMBio.
There are also 68 job openings available for Brigade Chief Brigade Officer, with the following requirements: Complete high school, be between 18 and 59 years of age and Training Course for Forest Fire Prevention and Fighting Brigades given by Ibama or ICMBio, and the salary will be R$ 2,424.00.
There are also 19 job openings available for State Brigade Supervisor, and the following requirements are required: Complete high school, be between 18 and 59 years of age and Training Course for Forest Fire Prevention and Fighting Brigades given by Ibama or ICMBio and the salary will be R$ 4,848.00.
Finally, 6 vacancies are available for the position of Federal Brigade Supervisor, with a salary of R$ 6,060.00 and the following requirements: Handling, Prevention and Combat (3), Geoprocessing (1), Environmental Education (1) and Training and Training (1). Requirement is higher education and experience in forest fire activities, environmental management and/or recovery of degraded areas.
