Petrobras opened, this Monday (18), its selection process for opportunities in the Young Apprentice program and, in total, the company is making 700 vacancies available for candidates with no experience, in 25 municipalities in 15 Brazilian states. The oil company is looking for young people aged between 14 and 22 years and three full months. Applicants must be enrolled and attending their respective schools if they do not have completed high school. There are also opportunities in the selection process that are aimed exclusively at people with disabilities (PWD) and adolescents from the children's market, as well as adolescents in institutional care.
in the program Young apprentice at Petrobras, candidates without experience will receive training classes and carry out practical tasks at the National Learning Service (Senai). In addition, participants will make technical visits to Petrobras facilities throughout Brazil.
The program plans to provide professional courses and vacancies in the following areas: logistics assistant, technical support operator in information technology, administrative assistant, web programmer, production line assistant, welder, maintenance mechanic, hydraulic plumber, industrial electrician, installer of building pipelines for fuel gas and building electrician.
Candidates without experience who are approved in the recruitment and selection process will have to complete a 4-hour learning day, from Monday to Friday, during the period of 20 months, and will also be entitled to a minimum wage and other benefits such as vacations, 13th salary, transportation vouchers and optional supplementary pension plan. The registration of the special apprenticeship contract in the Work and Social Security Card will be done directly by Petrobras.

The selection process will be done according to the average in the subjects of Mathematics and Portuguese Language based on the 2021 school report. If the candidate does not attach the school report, the grade will be considered zero. The tie-breaking criteria will be: being a beneficiary of public social programs from the federal, municipal or state government, being enrolled in Elementary or High School in the public network or having a certificate of completion of high school in the public network.
