Bearing in mind that the Marilm blue thermoelectric project in Macaé belongs to Shell and Pátria Investimentos, which will receive the surplus and exclusive gas from the pre-salt, instead of being reinjected into the well or burned. There are also projects to raise awareness of the population and students of the municipal education system about the importance of this enterprise in an initiative called Thermoelectric in Schools, which counts membership and collaboration from some large companies.
