IBGE offers new job vacancies and opens enrollment for the selection process

Registration for the selection process will be open until the 06/05th, and the IBGE provides a total of 107 vacancies for two different jobs.

Through the Official Gazette (DOU), published this Monday (2/05), the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) made public the opening of registrations for the complementary simplified selection process (PSS), which will select candidates for temporary jobs in two roles: operational census agent (ACO) and subarea census coordinator for the 2022 Demographic Census.

The vacancies disputed in the selection process carried out by IBGE will be divided into two functions with different requirements and attributions

The function of operational census agent has attributions such as: assisting in performing administrative and IT work in the unit where it is located; receive and serve IBGE employees and the general public; promote the digitization and transcription of various documents; provide the necessary technical support to ensure the proper functioning of the equipment and activities, among many others provided for in the public notice present in the Official Gazette of the Union. In addition, the job candidate must also fulfill some requirements, such as the ability to understand and communicate verbally, motor skills to deal with a microcomputer and its peripherals and speed to fulfill the established tasks. There are 97 vacancies for this function, with a monthly salary of R$ 1,700.00.

To apply for the selection process in question, the candidate for the vacancies must act in accordance with the steps indicated below. 

If you prefer to apply for the simplified complementary selection process online, the candidate for the job needs to complete the application form and send it to the e-mail address of the IBGE state unit that corresponds to the location of the vacancy for which he wants to apply. In addition, he must also send a copy of the identity and documentation that proves the academic title.

On the other hand, job applicants who wish to apply in person must go to one of the IBGE registration offices and present a copy of their identity document, in addition to a copy of their academic title.

At the time of hiring, individuals must also have their original documentation or certified copy on hand.
