Centec is offering more than 500 vacancies in free courses in Ceará. Vacancies are for free technical and higher level courses

With vacancies open from May 10th to June 10th, the Instituto Centro de Ensino Tecnológico (Centec) is offering free courses at technical and higher levels for cities of Barbalha, Juazeiro do Norte, Crato, Quixeramobim and São Gonçalo do Amarante in Ceará. Classes of the free courses should take place at the Fatecs of Technology (Fatec) Sertão Central and Cariri and also at the Technical Vocational Centers (CVTEC), but due to the need for isolation due to the coronavirus pandemic, classes will take place in the EAD modality. During the pandemic, classes are temporarily taking place through remote teaching, but all courses are in person.

Signing up for free courses is simple, just CLICK HERE! Once this is done, you will have to create your login and password for the next accesses. Soon after, you will need to fill out a form with your date of birth, full name, email, contact and Whatsapp.

In the next step of the registration process for Centec courses, you will choose which branch you want to study at, your level of education, the name of the free course you want to join and the desired shift.

Finally, you must upload the requested files, which will be different for each course chosen on Centec. Once this is done, you must select your state, place of birth, race/color, school origin and gender. Now just wait for the result!

How the selection process for Centec's free courses will work

The selection process of candidates for the free higher education courses will be through a test carried out remotely (writing) that will be available on the Centec System.

The test will last 2 hours and 50% of the vacancies will be reserved for those who attended high school in public schools, such as municipal or state schools, for self-declared browns, blacks and indigenous people and 3% reserved for PCD. For technical courses, the selection process will be done through an analysis of the academic record.

Registration for Centec courses will be open from May 10 to June 10. The results for the higher courses will be released on June 24th, and for the technical courses the results will be released on June 25th. The registration of those approved will be on the 1st and 2nd of July, with classes scheduled to start on the 2nd of August.
